Starlight Customizer runs entirely in your browser and writes files to your own repository. There’s no account, no hosted rendering service, and no per-seat license — the tool itself is free and MIT-licensed, the same as Starlight.

Everything described in this documentation — the full control panel, every preset, the sidebar IA editor, and the export dialog — is available with no restrictions.

Support plans

For teams that want help wiring an exported theme into a larger design system, or that need a custom preset built to match an existing brand, we offer paid implementation support on a case-by-case basis. Reach out through the GitHub repository linked in this site’s footer.
